We are looking for a skilled Accent Trainer / Voice Trainer to enhance spoken communication skills, pronunciation, and overall voice quality of employees or clients. The role involves training individuals to adopt neutral or specific accents, improve clarity, and build confidence in verbal communication, especially in customer-facing roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training sessions on accent neutralization, pronunciation, and intonation
- Assess trainees’ current speech patterns and identify improvement areas
- Design customized training modules based on individual or group needs
- Conduct voice and speech exercises to improve clarity, tone, and fluency
- Provide feedback and track progress through regular evaluations
- Train on listening skills, phonetics, and cultural communication nuances
- Support employees in improving customer interaction and professional communication
- Maintain training reports and performance records
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, English, Communication, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in accent training, voice coaching, or speech training
- Strong knowledge of phonetics, IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet), and speech patterns
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse learners and adapt teaching styles
- Good listening and analytical skills
- Familiarity with corporate or BPO training environments is a plus
Preferred Competencies
- Neutral/global accent proficiency (e.g., American, British, or neutral English)
- Experience with soft skills or communication training
- Patience and ability to motivate learners
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Work Environment
- Corporate office / training center / remote training setup
- May involve working with customer support or sales teams
